Megan Fox will not meet the eye in Transformers 3

Rumors had swirled that Transformers 3 wouldn’t feature Megan Fox. That isn’t a rumor any longer. The third installment will have to seek eye candy elsewhere. She is slated to be in a few more movies, but it is known she isn’t going to an acting school during her downtime. Whatever the reason may be, she isn’t going to be getting any more payday cash out of the Transformers franchise. It was reportedly confirmed by someone from the Michael Bay camp, according to the New York Daily News. However, no official statement has been made by Michael Bay regarding that yet.

Megan Fox maintains it was her idea

Megan Fox has said it was entirely her idea, according to CNN. She strenuously states that she wasn’t fired, though the statements she had made about the director made that seem almost likely. When she made derogatory comments about Michael Bay to the press, the film crew released a stinging open letter blasting her as a spoiled brat. Regardless if Megan Fox has brachydactyly in her thumbs, her Razzie nominated performance was captured and made possible by the film crew, who have given her the finger.

What comes next for the franchise?

Transformers 3 will probably be released by summer 2011. Summer is when a lot of blockbusters come out. Fox has an upcoming role in Jonah’s Hex, an action film starring Josh Brolin, adapted from a comic series by the same name. She indeed will be the lead female. I guess we’ll have to wait until then to see if her absence is something to bless or to blame.
